The Lego Batman Movie
Purpose of a media campaign
What is the purpose of media campaigns?
The purpose of media campaigns is to:
1. Action- gate, which means the media asks people to interact with social media posts. It also invites them to ask
questions, take polls, provide reviews, enter contestants and join mailing lists.
2. Provide incentives, which gives them a reason to provide information about themselves. Give them a reason to
provide information about themselves. For example, give them offers on things they like in order for them to get your
attention and their information.
3. Make prizes relevant, to the business if using a contest. For example, If you were a t-shirt company, it wouldn’t make
any sense to offer an Xbox as first prize in your contest (offer a year's worth of t-shirts!).
4. Proactively engage throughout the campaign, you should answer and address any enquiries rapidly, you should also
reinforce positive interactions with personal attention.
5. Promote across all social media accounts, even if the account is based on one platform, for example Instagram. This
will make your campaign gain a wider audience on each platform.
6. Adapt the look, and the messaging for your entire online presence to reinforce your campaign. You have to include
online branding, language on headings, landing and homepages.
7. carefully monitor performance, you can adjust the strategy if it is needed in your campaign.

media platforms.

plus it shows you that
you can reach out to
friends and family who
can also see your
campaign. Plus your
information can be
shared with anybody
online and your target
market audience will
grow.
Blogger can also show you
the statistics for your target
audience. In this case the
Lego batman movie is
aimed at children.

movie review it is rated three and a half stars, which means that
it isn't the best movie in the world, but it is still quite good.
This review was written online by a

what she thought was good about
the movie. She talks about how
fantastic the movie is and would
highly recommend it to parents with
children. This would be a good
movie to watch with your family,
because it also has some hidden
adult humor in it.

The communication channels and platforms I have chosen to use, are facebook
and youtube. The reason I have chosen these platforms is that they reach a
bigger audience and I can get more information on reviews and different
people's opinions on the movie. I have chosen the two best trailers that had the
most views on youtube. The reason why these trailers are important, is because
they are a way to attract an audience before the release of the film. This is
crucial, because if the audience is interested in the film trailer they will be
curious as to when they can go and see the actual movie. A good trailer is its
own mini story. An effective trailer usually relies on bits that cram maximum
value into minimal on-screen time. People look for a great look of the movie, or
a great line of dialogue that doesn’t just advance the story but should also be
funny as hell or uniquely scary. That’s where a lot of the story construction
comes from. Below are Lego Batman Figures that were mass produced for ages
14+. This message was spread across different media platforms, as a lot of
teenagers and parents have bought the product. I also think that the campaigns
have helped gain a wider audience, as they showed us that peoples inerests are.
This also shows us that pople are more likely to buy the product if it's something
they like. Lego isn't a necessity, but people chose to buy them for entertainment
purposes.

that I gatghered, a lot of
people thought that the life
sized Lego at moile was cool
and that they wanted to see
what it would look like on film.

page. The page itself has over 449k likes and 451k
followers. People who visit the Facebook page have
posted their own images of either their children
dressed up as Batman, or memes they have found or
created online. There's also fan art on the page too.

can see that the images of each
character have been analyzed to
show the different features,
personalities and colors of each
character.

I have researched information further on The
Lego Batman Movie, and have found different
media platforms in which you can find different
peoples comments and their personal thoughts
on the movie. This movie was released in 2017
and has reached a wider audience due to these
social media platforms. The target audience can
range from kids aged 8 upwards, to teens, to
adults and is rated PG, as there is different
references in the movie. The cast includes; Will
Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera and
Rosario Dawson.

  • 2. Purpose of a media campaign What is the purpose of media campaigns? The purpose of media campaigns is to: 1. Action- gate, which means the media asks people to interact with social media posts. It also invites them to ask questions, take polls, provide reviews, enter contestants and join mailing lists. 2. Provide incentives, which gives them a reason to provide information about themselves. Give them a reason to provide information about themselves. For example, give them offers on things they like in order for them to get your attention and their information. 3. Make prizes relevant, to the business if using a contest. For example, If you were a t-shirt company, it wouldn’t make any sense to offer an Xbox as first prize in your contest (offer a year's worth of t-shirts!). 4. Proactively engage throughout the campaign, you should answer and address any enquiries rapidly, you should also reinforce positive interactions with personal attention. 5. Promote across all social media accounts, even if the account is based on one platform, for example Instagram. This will make your campaign gain a wider audience on each platform. 6. Adapt the look, and the messaging for your entire online presence to reinforce your campaign. You have to include online branding, language on headings, landing and homepages. 7. carefully monitor performance, you can adjust the strategy if it is needed in your campaign.

Examples of different social media marketing Blogger.com is a perfect example of how people can create different marketing strategies, to spread their campaign on different social media platforms. Here is an example of how blogger looks, plus it shows you that you can reach out to friends and family who can also see your campaign. Plus your information can be shared with anybody online and your target market audience will grow. Blogger can also show you the statistics for your target audience. The reason I have chosen these platforms is that they reach a bigger audience and I can get more information on reviews and different people's opinions on the movie. I have chosen the two best trailers that had the most views on youtube. The reason why these trailers are important, is because they are a way to attract an audience before the release of the film. This is crucial, because if the audience is interested in the film trailer they will be curious as to when they can go and see the actual movie. A good trailer is its own mini story. An effective trailer usually relies on bits that cram maximum value into minimal on-screen time. People look for a great look of the movie, or a great line of dialogue that doesn’t just advance the story but should also be funny as hell or uniquely scary. That’s where a lot of the story construction comes from. Below are Lego Batman Figures that were mass produced for ages 14+. This message was spread across different media platforms, as a lot of teenagers and parents have bought the product. I also think that the campaigns have helped gain a wider audience, as they showed us that peoples inerests are. This also shows us that pople are more likely to buy the product if it's something they like. Lego isn't a necessity, but people chose to buy them for entertainment purposes.

Over twenty Lego sets inspired by scenes from the film. A Story Pack for the toys- to-life video game Lego Dimensions based on The Lego Batman Movie was released on February 10, 2017, alongside the film. On Jamuary 14, 2017 a llifesized Lego bat mobile was created, from around 350,000 pieces. The posters of the film were released in february 2017. This timeline shows the timing and cohesiveness of The Lego Batman Movie. From research that I gatghered, a lot of people thought that the life sized Lego at moile was cool and that they wanted to see what it would look like on film.

People who visit the Facebook page have posted their own images of either their children dressed up as Batman, or memes they have found or created online. There's also fan art on the page too. On a couple of the pictures you can see that the images of each character have been analyzed to show the different features, personalities and colors of each character. I have researched information further on The Lego Batman Movie, and have found different media platforms in which you can find different peoples comments and their personal thoughts on the movie. This movie was released in 2017 and has reached a wider audience due to these social media platforms. The target audience can range from kids aged 8 upwards, to teens, to adults and is rated PG, as there is different references in the movie. The cast includes; Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera and Rosario Dawson. This is a meme I found on google, which is a meme about relationships and it links to the audience well.
