Students in the Netherlands measured parts of their bodies to calculate ratios and compare them to the Golden ratio. They measured heights, arm and leg lengths, and distances between certain body parts. The results were analyzed by gender to find average ratios for things like total height divided by distance from foot to navel, and total leg length divided by lower leg length. Most ratios clustered around 1.6-1.9, but some varied more.
