 Lead large cross-functional teams through complex transformational projects from concept through its lifecycle
using PRINCE2 methodologies.
 Coach, mentor, and oversee the daily tasks for a project management team, monitoring and reporting on project status.
 Execute budget management as per investment approval governance.
 Supervise all vendor delivery activities, including contract negotiation, work execution, and budget and
performance management.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
 Implemented a high security cheques and PIN production project for blue chip banking organisation with daily
volumes of up to 60k per day.
 Managed a Downstream Access (DSA) mailing service project, creating additional annual revenues of over £5 million.
 Led a large scale financial project including over 12 different products and 30k packs per day, achieving the
required go live date and so evading a £50k penalty clause.
IT SERVICES MANAGER (April 1999 – JANUARY 2008)
 Led the IT Operations Support department and maintained the company IT infrastructure.
 Supported, maintained, and administered the HP9000 HP-UX Mainframe, as well as all fileand applicationservers.
 Provided first, second, and third line support in all aspects of hardware and software.
 Executed network support, development, and administration.
 Performed all IT purchasing and facilitated all IT training company-wide.
KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
 Led the migration of the company IT Infrastructure to an alternative site, as well as the creation of a full DR facility
enabling contacts to be maintained to an annual value of over £8 million.
 Recognized for developing innovative and cost efficient IT strategies for the company.
