• The concept of “marketing mix” was introduced over 60 years ago. In
1953, Neil Borden mentioned it in his presidential address to the
American Marketing Association (AMA).
• In general terms, marketing mix is a variety of different factors that
can influence a consumer’s decision to purchase a product or use a
service. It most commonly refers to the 4Ps of marketing product,
price, promotion and place.

• Ray Kroc Becomes a Franchised in 1955.
• 1961 Buys all the rights From McDonald's Brothers.
• 1966 McDonalds goes public Ronald McDonald appears In first TV commercial.
• Happy Meal Introduced in 1979.
• Golden Arches logo were designed by architect Stanley Meston in
1953
