NBAA 2012 Update
Run for the Angels 5K
NBAA Staff and Static Exhibitors made a special trip to KORL in April to fa-
miliarize themselves with our airport and to learn about the ramp improve-
ments that will be happening prior to the show. It was a nice opportunity
for us to show off our ample ramp space and get a better feel for their
needs this fall. As we’ve already mentioned, this year’s show will require
more ramp space than previous years to accommodate the size of the dis-
plays. This means that we will move more based aircraft for a longer period
of time in preparation for the show. But, keep in mind that NBAA will reim-
burse each based customer for the days their aircraft is displaced. We can-
not host a show like this without causing some disruption to the normal
flow at the airport. However, our goal is to always put the needs of our
based customers first!
Thank you to all of our
airport friends for making
the Run for the Angels 5K
a success! As a result of
your participation and
support, the event raised
nearly $2000 for Angel
Flight Southeast. This
money will go to help
support Angel Flight’s mission of removing transportation as a barrier for
people seeking medical attention. Showalter would like to give a special
“THANK YOU” to our very own Rusty Fleming for his hard work in planning,
promoting and executing the event! Let’s do it again next year!
Lodi’s Lowdown
Lodi’s Lowdown for the month of April was correctly answered by Nicholas Musashe, Dave Gardner and Wendy Gorham.

trolled Mothership, and X-36. Thanks for answering!

How many total days did it spend in space?
