Matthew Lewis graduated from The City College of New York with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a GPA of 3.3. He has filed a patent for his Wavergy marine hydrokinetic energy invention and received awards from various competitions and grants. Currently, he works as an Architectural Landscape Engineer while also continuing research in ocean engineering and developing his Wavergy device to capture and convert ocean wave energy into electricity.
