AVL trees are self-balancing binary search trees. When a node is inserted or deleted, the heights of ancestor nodes may change and cause the tree to become unbalanced. To rebalance the tree, rotations are performed, where nodes are reorganized locally. Insertion and deletion operations in AVL trees take O(log n) time due to potentially needing to traverse multiple levels to find the first unbalanced node and perform rebalancing rotations.

As a Notes and Domino customer, you may have faced challenges with unexpected user counts and license costs. You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible.
