Some of the strategies that can be implemented and put in an action plan
may include the following:
 Show and tell ( allow students to bring something to show off like object or picture).
 Story telling/ open questions ( life long readers – practice language in an entertainment way).
 Sing songs (engage students in a fun way).
 Designated play time ( increase social skills- team work- corporation and mental stimulation).
 Lesson planning that focus on key skills (Pre- counting 1 to 20 - FS1 counting 20-50 - FS2 counting to
100) know shapes, colours, patterns and different measurement units.
 Use of classroom supplies (crayons – note pad – white board markers and manipulatives).
 Classroom management ( behavior practice procedures).
 Formative assessments.
 Back up activities/ projects.
 Cooperative learning activities ( sharing and respect).
 Making learning fun ( hands on learning - playdough – crafts – songs, music and movement - toys and
manipulatives – role play).
 Illustration (real-world surroundings are represented as illustration).
 Make social and emotional learning authentic ( Self management – self and social awareness –
relationship skills – decision making).
 Implementing cognitive learning styles ( sensing – thinking – feeling – intuition – judging – perceiving).
