  • 10. A WOMAN WILL NOT BE ENTITTLED TO THE PAYMENT OF BENEFIT UNLESS WORKED LESS THAN SIX MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE DELIVERY. HAVING TWO OR MORE SURVIVING CHILDREN AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY.
  • 11. TIME TO GIVE NOTICE EIGHT WEEKS BEFORE CONFINEMENT WITHIN SEVEN DAYS AFTER DELIVERY
  • 13. WHEN AN EMPLOYER SHALL PERMIT THE WOMAN TO ABSENT HERSELF FROM WORK? DAY FOLLOWING THE DATE OF THE NOTICE IN CASE OF NOTICE UNDER SUB SECTION-1 THE DAY OF DELIVERY IN CASE OF NOTICE UNDER SUB- SECTION (2), UNTIL 8 WEEKS AFTER DAY OF DELIVERY

  • 18. AMOUNT OF MATERNITY BENEFITS AMOUNT IS CALCULATED ON THE BASIS OF DAILY, WEEKLY OR MONTHLY AVERAGE RATES USING FOLLOWING FORMULA: TOTAL WAGES EARNED ON PRECEDING 3 MONTHS ACTUAL WORNING DAYS DURING THE PERIOD
  • 19. DEATH DOES NOT DISCHARGE THE EMPLOYER FROM RESPONSIBILITY
  • 20. AMOUNT TO BE PAIDTIMEOFDEATH FULL AMOUNT ON THE DATE OF DELIVERY AND 8 WEEKS THEREAFTER AMOUNT THAT COVERS HER MATERNITY LEAVE INCLUDING THE DATE OF DEATH PAYMENT IN CASE OF DEATH BEFORE THE BIRTH OF CHILD
  • 21. THE PERSON TO BE PAID THE CHILD SURVIVES THE CHILD DOESN’T SURVIVE TO THE PERSON WHO UNDERTAKES THE CARE OF THE CHILD TO HER NOMINEE OR LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE SURVIVAL OF THE CHILD
