The student experimented with different typography for a hip-hop magazine and gathered feedback from their teacher and classmates. The Maximus BT font was deemed distracting due to lines across the letters. The most popular choice was Tw Cen MT Consensed Extra Bold as it portrayed masculinity through bold, sharp edges that would draw attention. The IguanaLover BTN font was too thin and soft, implying a feminine feel inappropriate for a hip-hop magazine. Heather BTN also failed as it looked unprofessionally handdrawn and was too thin to distinguish on a magazine cover.
