Duties & Responsibilities
Assisted producer, director, client, and agency in scheduling and coordinating the communications and day-to-day
workings of a film production team. Filled in as office supervisor whenever production manager was absent or on
set.
Coordinated crew, maintained purchase order log, ensured paperwork completion and filing, answered the
telephone, ordered and collected equipment, and booked personnel.
Took on a variety of roles and responsibilities in support of production, casting, client relations, set design, catering,
makeup and hair, camera, and car and equipment rentals.
Worked with major insurance providers to procure and return in excellent condition all assets of large-scale
productions and events, including millions of dollars’ worth of camera, lighting, and editing equipment, rental
property, and vehicles, to avoid insurance claims.
During preproduction, set up production office, ordered equipment and supplies, coordinated travel,
accommodations, work permits, and visas for cast and crew, and prepared and distributed shooting schedules, crew
and cast lists, scripts, and script revisions.
Organized the use of courier and shipping companies, arranged the shipment of film and tape to and from labs, and
coordinated the movement of props, costumes, and equipment.
After filming conclusion, closed accounts with suppliers, returned surplus stock, safely stored office files, and tied up
all loose ends.
