a daughter of Charles VI.

dynasty.
• I was the Czech queen and I was
named as Mother of two emperors.

• I fought very hard in many battles.
• I was defeated and I won several
battles.

4. Aren´t you know still?
I made these reforms:
I made compulsory school
attendance for children from 6 to 12 years old
in so – called „trivial schools“.
Children had to learn read, count and write
(reading, Maths and alphabet).
Children most often went to school in winter,
because in summer they worked in the fields.

• I didn ´t force children, so that
they went to school, because there
weren´t many schools in this time.
• Boys went to the schools more
often, but girls not by year 1780.
• Firstly girls classes ´were
established in cities.
• 1869 – I established eight years
school attendance.
• It was Terezie ´s education.

• I ruled from year 1740 to 1780.
• When I was 19 years old, I
married František Štěpán
Lotrinský.
• I had 16 children .
• One of them was Joseph II.
• He was the emperor, too.
• My personal life was very happy.
