The original concept of the newly created
Czechoslovakia was outlined at a peace conference
in Paris by the Czech diplomate named Edvard
Benes. The first Czechoslovak president was voted
in November 14, 1918, he was Tomas Garrigue
Masaryk (re-elected in May in 1920, 1927, 1934),
who was after his abdication 14 December 1935
replaced by Edvard Benes.
4. PRAGUE
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic. It was founded by Libuse –
noble woman from ancient rumours.
5. STAROMĚSTSKÝ ORLOJ
Astronomical Clock or Prague Astronomical Clock is a medieval astronomical
clock located on the south side of the Old Town Hall tower in Prague. The clock is
first mentioned in a document dated 9. October 1410.
6. KARLŮV MOST
Karlův most je nejstarší stojící most přes řeku Vltavu v Praze a druhý
nejstarší dochovaný most v České republice.
