John F. Kennedy was born in 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts. He came from a large Irish Catholic family and had 3 children with his wife Jacqueline Bouvier. Kennedy graduated from Harvard University and joined the Navy during World War II. After leaving the Navy, he entered politics and was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives and later the Senate. Kennedy overcame obstacles like his brother Joseph dying in war. He was elected President in 1960 but was assassinated in Dallas, Texas in 1963.
