John F. Kennedy was born in 1917 and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He later represented Massachusetts in the U.S. House and Senate as a Democrat before being elected as the 35th U.S. President in 1960 at the age of 43, making him the youngest man elected to the office. However, his presidency was cut short when he was assassinated in Dallas, Texas in 1963.
