3. Experiences
Building Survey
I carried out a successful full building survey on a Type I Unity building during my
second year at University which I chose to do over a standard building type to
demonstrate ability to carry out research using my own initiative on a building type I
was not originally familiar with.
Sovereign Kingfisher, Basingstoke
Two weeks unpaid placement shadowing a Chartered Building Surveyor and site
manager. Tasks included inspecting various leasehold properties whilst assisting
with measured and condition surveys.
Key Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and communication skills in both English and Spanish along with
dedication and a great ability to use my own initiative whenever required which was
shown in multiple jobs with high recognition from managers.
I work well within a team environment which was demonstrated in multiple large
group projects over the years at University, one of which was recognised and won an
award presented by property developers, Urban Splash.
I also have the confidence to excel in being able to work independently whenever
necessary.
In-depth knowledge of the majority of Microsoft products from using them for many
years during education and also high standard AutoCAD ability.
Furthermore, I completed an intense induction to Building Information Modelling to
familiarise myself with the increasingly favoured software.

Activities/Interests
I have a particular interest in fitness; I attend the local gym and play various sports
whenever I have free time, I have previously played football for local teams in both
Spain and England.
