Digital painting is an emerging art form in which
traditional painting techniques are applied (such as
watercolors, oils, impasto, etc.) using digital tools by
means of a computer, graphics tablet, and stylus, and
software.
It is a process of painting on a tablet and creating
artwork digitally on computer.
MS Paint (Microsoft Paint) – is a simple graphic editor
that has been included with all versions of Microsoft
Windows. It can be used to draw, color, and edit pictures.

canvas, for example: drawing on paper, painting using
water color, etc.
Steps in Finding Microsoft Paint in your Computer
1. Open the Start Menu
2. Click on “All Apps”
3. Scroll Down to “Window Accessories”
4. Open your Accessories
5. Select Microsoft Paint
6. MS Paint Screen appears.

1. Clipboard – it is also known as pasteboard which is a
location in your computer’s memory that temporarily
stores cut, copy, and paste data from a document.
2. Image – are the pictures stored in the computer or in
the internet. You can select, group, resize, and rotate
the image.
3. Tools – include pencil, fill with color, text, eraser,
color picker, and magnifier.
