Synthetic resin is typically manufactured using a chemical polymerization process. This process then results in the creation of polymers that are more stable and homogeneous than naturally occurring resin. Since they are more stable and are cheaper, various forms of synthetic resin are used in a variety of products such as plastics, paints, varnishes, and textiles. There are various kinds of synthetic resins; silicones resins, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, gum arabic, epoxy resins, guar gum, carrageenan, carboxymethyl cellulose, etc. Resins are polymeric compound which are available in nature and are also manufactured by synthetic routes. Some resins are also manufactured by partial modification of natural precursor polymer by chemical.
During 2009–2013, consumption of epoxy resins for coatings increased at an average annual rate of 8.3% and for electrical and electronics applications at 6.8%. Epoxy resins for composite applications increased at an average rate of 8.1% per year
In 2013, the largest end use for epoxy resins was coating applications, which accounted for 43% of total consumption, followed by electrical and electronics applications, at 35%. The resin market accounted for USD 7.54 Billion in 2015 and is expected to reach USD 11.22 Billion by 2021, growing at a CAGR of around 6.9% between 2016 and 2021.
In INDIA, epoxy resins consumption will grow at an average annual rate of 4.9% for 2013–2018.
Epoxy resin consumption for composites in the United States is forecast to grow at an average annual rate of nearly 10% during 2013–2018.

Pine chemicals are derived from the distillation of oleoresin or carbonization of wood. These chemicals are largely obtained from three sources: 1) living trees; 2) dead pine stumps and logs; and 3) as by-products of sulfate (or Kraft) pulping. Most distilled products are made from gum, stumps, logs, and sulfate pulp byproducts.
Pine oleoresin is a complex mixture of volatile and nonvolatile terpenes. Terpenes constitute the largest group of secondary products (with more than 40,000 different metabolites). Global investments in new forest plantations have focused on fast-growing hardwood plantations over the past 15 years. But there is a growing interest in developing new pine plantations for production of oleoresin.

Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC). Production of GRC or GFRC. Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GRFC) Industry
GRC or GFRC is made in thin concrete sections created by a proprietary process of machine spraying an enriched OP cement and aggregate mix within which alkali resistant glass fibres provide the reinforcement. Unlike steel, glass fibres will never rust and are placed throughout the thickness of the panels.
GRC is approximately 80% lighter than pre-cast steel reinforced concrete cladding, it offers greater versatility due to its superior compressive strength and most importantly its flexural properties. Due to the reduced weight it is environmentally friendly in comparison to pre-cast concrete with lower co2 emissions caused during manufacture. The emission reductions are significantly enhanced if the reduced load on the superstructure with the resultant economies in structural frame and foundations are taken in to account. GRC receives a BREEAM A+ material rating and is easy to handle and fast to erect due to its lightweight mounting on a range of bespoke support systems.

The herbal medicines today symbolize safety in contrast to the synthetics that are regarded as unsafe to human and environment. Although herbs had been priced for their medicinal, flavoring and aromatic qualities for centuries, the synthetic products of the modern age surpassed their importance, for a while.

The annual demand of botanical raw drugs in the country has been estimated at 3,19,500 MT for the year 20011-2013.There is global resurgence in traditional and alternative health care systems resulting in world herbal trade which stands at US$ 120 billion and is expected to reach US$ 7 trillion by 2050.
Indian share in the world trade, at present, however, is quite low.In state wise assessment of demand for 10 major states it works out to 33000 tons per State per year totaling to approximately 3.5 lakh tons for the country as a whole. However, individual pharmacy requirement works out to 1292 tons (approx.) annually. Assuming that there are 100 major pharmacies, the country's demand for crude drugs on this basis comes to 1.29 lakh tons per year. Combining the averages of the two sources, the demand estimate is worked out to 2.4 lakh tons of crude drugs per 122 annum.

Pine chemicals are derived from the distillation of oleoresin or carbonization of wood. These chemicals are largely obtained from three sources: 1) living trees; 2) dead pine stumps and logs; and 3) as by-products of sulfate (or Kraft) pulping. Most distilled products are made from gum, stumps, logs, and sulfate pulp byproducts.
Pine oleoresin is a complex mixture of volatile and nonvolatile terpenes. Terpenes constitute the largest group of secondary products (with more than 40,000 different metabolites). Global investments in new forest plantations have focused on fast-growing hardwood plantations over the past 15 years. But there is a growing interest in developing new pine plantations for production of oleoresin.

Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC). Production of GRC or GFRC. Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete (GRFC) Industry
GRC or GFRC is made in thin concrete sections created by a proprietary process of machine spraying an enriched OP cement and aggregate mix within which alkali resistant glass fibres provide the reinforcement. Unlike steel, glass fibres will never rust and are placed throughout the thickness of the panels.
GRC is approximately 80% lighter than pre-cast steel reinforced concrete cladding, it offers greater versatility due to its superior compressive strength and most importantly its flexural properties. Due to the reduced weight it is environmentally friendly in comparison to pre-cast concrete with lower co2 emissions caused during manufacture. The emission reductions are significantly enhanced if the reduced load on the superstructure with the resultant economies in structural frame and foundations are taken in to account. GRC receives a BREEAM A+ material rating and is easy to handle and fast to erect due to its lightweight mounting on a range of bespoke support systems.

The annual demand of botanical raw drugs in the country has been estimated at 3,19,500 MT for the year 20011-2013.There is global resurgence in traditional and alternative health care systems resulting in world herbal trade which stands at US$ 120 billion and is expected to reach US$ 7 trillion by 2050.
Indian share in the world trade, at present, however, is quite low.In state wise assessment of demand for 10 major states it works out to 33000 tons per State per year totaling to approximately 3.5 lakh tons for the country as a whole. However, individual pharmacy requirement works out to 1292 tons (approx.) annually. Assuming that there are 100 major pharmacies, the country's demand for crude drugs on this basis comes to 1.29 lakh tons per year. Combining the averages of the two sources, the demand estimate is worked out to 2.4 lakh tons of crude drugs per 122 annum.

The organic waste stream is composed of waste of a biological origin such as paper and cardboard, food, green and garden waste, animal waste and biosolids and sludges. Organic waste is usually generated as a component of most waste streams. For information on the treatments for managing organic wastes click on the links to the right. Four significant components of this organic, biodegradable stream are from food preparation, agricultural production, livestock manures, and municipal sewage sludge. Organic waste from food sources includes vegetables, fruits, grains, meats, fish, dairy products, etc., and constitutes some 18% of the typical municipal organic waste stream. An average of 1 kg per person per day of organic waste is produced, originating from households, wholesalers & processors, restaurants, and institutions. Urban centers are the major generators of organic food waste. Agricultural waste includes waste made up of those materials such as manure and animal output, in either solid or liquid form from poultry or other livestock operations. It also includes harvest remains from grain, oilseed, vegetable, and orchard crops.

Varnish is traditionally a combination of a drying oil, a resin, and a thinner or solvent.

Market outlook
The global market for construction materials is projected to exceed US $ 1 trillion by 2020, driven by improving world economic outlook and recovering construction activity in residential, commercial and infrastructure sector. India's construction industry will continue to expand over the forecast period (2016–2020), with investments in residential, infrastructure and energy projects continuing to drive growth. The industry's output value in real terms is expected to rise at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.65% over the forecast period; up from 2.95% during the review period (2011–2015). For August 2016, the construction final demand producer price index (PPI) was flat over July 2016, but is 0.7% above last year. The PPI for Inputs to construction industry goods was down -0.2% from last month and -1.7% from last year. After what will likely be 2% growth in 2016, overall construction costs are forecasted for ongoing growth in 2017 in the 2-3% range. These increases will be primarily led by gains in construction labor wages, which is forecasted for 3-4% in 2017.

Glass is a non-crystalline amorphous solid that is often transparent and has widespread practical, technological, and decorative usage in, for example, window panes, tableware, and optoelectronics. Of the many silica-based glasses that exist, ordinary glazing and container glass is formed from a specific type called soda-lime glass, composed of approximately 75% silicon dioxide (SiO2), sodium oxide (Na2O) from sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), calcium oxide, also called lime (CaO), and several minor additives.
DEMAND OF GLASS
Indian packaging industry is pegged to be around $ 15 billion with a growth rate of 15 % approximately, out of which Indian container glass industry stands at $ 0.87 billion with an approximate growth rate of 12 %. The Indian float glass is estimated to be around $ 0.76 billion with growth rate of 32 % in the last fiscal year. The comparison between per capita consumption of glass in countries like the USA - 27.5 kg and Japan 10.2 kg suggests that India with a consumption of 1.4 kg has a huge scope for significant growth opportunities.

Synthetic resin - a resin having a polymeric structure particularly a resin within the raw state; used chiefly in plastics. Synthetic resins are industrially produced resins, usually viscous substances that convert into rigid polymers by the process of natural action. So as to bear curing, resins generally contain reactive finish teams, such as acrylates or epoxides. Some synthetic resins have properties almost like natural plant resins, however several don't.
Synthetic resin, short for resin is artificial synthesized high molecular polymer. Therefore, different types of plastic can be called after the name of the synthetic resin it is made from.

Resins and Resin Combinations
Resins, in general, are amorphous solid or semisolid substances that are
invariably water insoluble but mostly soluble in alcohol or other organic solvents.
However, physically they are found to be hard, translucent or transparent and
fusible i.e., upon heating they first get softened and ultimately melt. But
chemically, they are complex mixtures of allied substances, such as: resin acids,
resin alcohols (or resinols), resinotannols, resin esters, glucoresins and the like.
Another school of thought considers Resins as amorphous products having an
inherent complex chemical entity. These are normally produced either in
schizogenous or in sehizolysigenous ducts or in carities and are regarded as the
end products of metabolism. The physical general characteristic features of resins
are namely: hard, transparent, or translucent and, when heated they yield usually
complex mixtures that comprise of resin acids, resin alcoholds, resinotannols,
esters and resenes. Some researehers do believe that the resins are nothing but
the oxidation products of the terpenes. They are found to be mostly insoluble in
water, but soluble in ethanol and organic solvents. They are electrically nonconductive
and combustible in nature.
Fibre-reinforced polymer is a composite material made of a polymer matrix reinforced with Fibres.
Factor which are mostly affecting resin bonding are Gel time and peak exothermic temperature which are
different for different compounds. Since in Fibre reinforced glass plastic moulding all the raw material such as
Fibre glass mat, resin, gel coat, catalyst, accelerator and pigment which are required for the production are
constant. Since resin is the binder in Fibre reinforced glass plastic, resin can be considered as the key of the Fibre
reinforced glass plastic moulding process. The factors on which resin depends are curing time, gel time, peak
exothermic temperature and pot life. The main factors are curing time, gel time and peak exothermic temperature.
Curing time, gel time, and peak exothermic temperature are different for different compound. Hence the only
parameters that can be changed is catalyst and accelerator. Using different catalyst and accelerator may help in
proper binding of resin and hence it may result in a smaller number of unwanted defects which will ultimately
lead to decrease the cost. Hence certain experiments have to be perform for getting the idea of effect of different
catalyst, accelerator on resin.

they are more stable and are cheaper, various forms of
