This document compares the efficacy of exercise-physiotherapy versus pressure garment-silicone treatments for hypertrophic burn scars. It presents a study of 60 patients randomized into two treatment groups and assessed before and after treatment. The results showed that both treatments improved scar characteristics, but exercise-physiotherapy led to greater improvements in scar thickness, pliability, vascularity and total improvement score.
