Georgia State University transitioned to a paperless application processing system to improve the applicant and reviewer experience. They implemented ApplyYourself to collect all application materials in one online system. This allowed advisors to manage workflows and reviewers to concurrently assess applications electronically. The transition decreased processing times from months to weeks for reviewed programs. While an ongoing challenge is gaining buy-in for the technological change, the benefits of collaboration, transparency, and speed have proven the value of the university's paperless transition.
