Script - Walton Hill

Letter to Surrey County Council - Permission to Film
St. Andrew's Catholic School media studies students are requesting permission to film at various Walton Hill area locations between 12pm-4pm on Wednesdays in November for an A-Level coursework soap opera trailer. The filming would take place at Walton Street, Mere Pond, Banstead Heath and the thoroughfare, and would not disturb the public or locations. The students promise to remain professional and not cause any issues while representing the school. Their teacher, Mr. N Crafts, can be contacted for additional details.
Letter to Universal Music
The students are requesting permission to use elements of the song "Till It's Gone" by Yelawolf in their A-Level Media Studies soap opera trailer. Their trailer can only be 45 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds. They will be editing the song using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. Once completed, they will upload the trailer to YouTube and embed it into their educational blog for their exam board to assess interactively.
Ancillary Product 1 - Mind Map

Research shows soap operas have a predominantly female target audience. The target socio-economic group is typically those in social grades B-D, as the issues addressed in soap operas reflect real-world struggles of working and middle classes.
Soap Opera Genre - Textual Analysis
