3. What is Magnetic Field
A magnetic field is a picture that we
use as a tool to describe how the
magnetic force is distributed in the
space around and within something
magnetic. The magnetic field is
descried mathematically as vector
field.

5. Types of magnetic field
1- Uniform magnetic field:
Magnetic field is said to be uniform if
its
Magnetic is equal and direction is same
at Every point in the space or that
particular region
5
6. 2- Non uniform magnetic field:
Magnetic field is said to be non uniform
magnetic field if its magnetic is not
equal and direction is not at every
point in the space

8. Strong and weak magnetic field
Strong magnetic filed:
If a magnetic field lines are very close
to each other in a particular region ,
then the strength of magnetic field in
that field is very large or the magnetic
filed is strong
8
9. Weak magnetic field:
If the magnetic field lines are far away
from each other in the particular
region , then the strength of the
magnetic field in that region is very
small or magnetic field is weak.

12. Conclusion
• The magnetic field lines around a
wire are circles centered on the wire
• The magnetic field of a solenoid is
uniform inside the solenoid and like a
bar magnet on the outside.
• Increasing the current increases the
strength of the magnetic fields;
reversing the current reverses the
magnetic field lines.
