A Headline is the title of a newspaper story, printed in large letters at the top of the story, especially
on the front page.
Running head is a heading printed at the top of each page of magazine.
Pull quote is a key phrase, quotation, or excerpt that has been pulled from an article and used as a
page layout graphic element.
A Drop cap is the where the first character of the first paragraph is made larger, taking up several
lines of text or the first few sentences.
Folio is the page number and date of the magazine.
Body copy is the text forming the main content of a magazine.
Box copy are boxes that contain important facts related to the topic of the article that a reader
should know while reading a magazine article.
Sub-head is a subordinate heading or title.
Image caption are a few lines of text used to explain and elaborate on published photographs.
By line is a line in a newspaper naming the writer of an article.
Typography is the art of arranging letters and text in a way that makes the copy legible, clear, and
visually appealing to the reader. It involves font style, appearance, and structure, which aims to elicit
certain emotions and convey specific messages.

Comparisons
Most of the body copy and box copy are left aligned. So, in my article all my box
copy and body copy are going to be left aligned.
The images on the articles don’t have a coloured background.
Ironman article only uses three colours (red, black and white). The Spider-Man
article also uses three colours (blue, red and black). However the Daniel Craig
(James Bond) article only uses black and white text.
The headlines on all magazine articles are bold and chunky. They all used sans-
serif fonts and the letters were all in capital letters.
