models head covering the masthead.

The positioning statement is placed underneath the

3. Contents Page
The Contents title is the biggest font on the page and
sometimes the front page is prominent on the contents
page.
Headings are used to divide the contents and page
numbers are placed on pictures to link them with the
appropriate article.
There is always a consistent column structure, which is
most likely three columns which can either be
separated by lines or nothing at all.
Simple colour schemes are often used with most
magazines using a plane background with bright font.
Contents pages always have a page number at the
bottom, the title of the magazine and the magazine issue
date.

4. Website Websites always have a masthead and
banner to indicate the title of the magazine.
Navigation bars are used so readers can
travel around the website easily with no
issues.
Hyperlinks to different sections so the
reader can go to different stories and
sections to the website.
The website most likely has the same text as
what is included in the magazine. And often
has simple standard English
Subscribe buttons are usually visible so
readers can receive the magazine online.
More images than text to appeal to the
audience and grab their attention.
White/ cream background is often
prominent with links to social media,
adverts and more stories
There is usually a link to more stories also.
Some magazine websites also have a video,
whether that be a make up tutorial, look
book, or behind the scenes footage.
