1. M.Sc. Chemistry by Research - Integrated (3+2 Years)
The objective of the proposed course is to provide the students with theoretical and
experimental knowledge in Inorganic, Organic & Physical and Analytical Chemistry. Emphasis
will be given to applications of chemistry so that students are competent to secure a career in
academics, industries or may continue for higher education and research. The content of the
course would provide a deeper understanding of different aspects of chemistry and the
knowledge gained would be integrated to other branches of science demonstrating the
applications. Laboratory courses will be programmed to provide experience on working with
various advanced instruments and analytical techniques. 4 Years will be for acquiring the
mastery over the subject while the final year will be dedicated for research work and
dissertation under the supervision of faculty members associated with research and
development projects. The curriculum will provide proficiency in the area of specialization and
equip the students for their professional growth or a research and development career in
prestigious organizations.
