1. Muhammad Hussain – Plant Integrity Engineer
Profile
Mr Hussain gained his qualifications in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering
from Dawood College of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan. He
completed two years education in Project Management. He also has taken
training course on Life Assessment, Root Cause Failure Analysis, RBI, FFS,
Welding Inspection from ETD Ltd UK and TWI UK.
He is currently involved in some of the projects related to plant integrity and life assessment. He has the
know-how in on-site plant assessment, metallographic replication to recognise microstructural
deterioration in older plant, portable hardness measurement and corrosion issues.
He has experience in the use of MPI, DPT, VT, RT and UT.
In analytical/numerical skills include stress analysis and life assessment (fatigue, creep, and creep-
fatigue analysis), defect assessment, FFS of low and high temperature plants. The practical experience
includes BTF analysis, microstructural degradation and RCA, outage planning, and life assessment of
base load designed CCGT/HRSG operating in cyclic mode.
He has an inspection experience both in Process, Equipment, pipelines & Piping, Running plants,
inspection of Static Equipment, storage tanks, welding joints, piping, pipelines, tubes and pressure
vessels, earth moving equipment, lifting gears at different petrochemical industries.
He is also involve in delivering training on Skills Development, Communication Skills, Time Management,
Boss Management, People Management, Personality Grooming, Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma. In
Technical side, he is delivering training on Welding Technology & Inspection, Corrosion and Erosion
Issues, Stress Analysis, Life and remaining life assessment and NDT for different companies.
