The summer trade show season for luxury purveyors kicks off in Atlanta today with the opening of the AmericasMart’s Gift & Home Furnishings Market. The newest in luxury textiles – across bedding, accessories and area rugs – are coming to the Atlanta market, July 10-16, and again to Las Vegas Market July 29 to August 2 and NY Now Aug. 12 to 15. Here is a sampling of what some of the key designers and brands are launching this summer for this fall and spring 2019.

2. Peacock Alley
Peacock Alley’s Sleep Well collection,
which launched a year ago,
encompasses down and down-
alternative bedding, with pillows of
various weights and sizes, duvet
inserts, and mattress enhancers.

3. Kevin O’Brien
The designer’s new machine-washable line
of printed cotton sateen bedding, including
the Leopard collection here, is made to pair
with O’Brien’s more upscale hand-dyed,
hand-quilted oversized velvet throws and
matching dip-dye velvet pillows.

4. Curran Home + Downtown Co.
Curran Home returns to luxury linens via a
partnership with DownTown Co., which created
an exclusive program for the e-commerce site.

which speaks to its determination

collection is filled
with alpaca wool for a
new natural fiber
option to its utility

11. Ann Gish
“Croc, Row, and Birch” sums up this new
bedding ensemble from Ann Gish. Layers of
organic texture evoke a modern, neutral look.
The oversize Croc back pillows and coverlet
create a base for the coordinating Champagne
Birch pillows and duvet cover.

Barrington from Bedford Collections
is knit in the USA in an oversized
basket stitch weave of soft acrylic
for added depth and surface
interest. It is machine washable
and available in five colors,

design choice.

13. Chilewich
Inspired by the Japanese woodworking art of
kumiko, Chilewich’s Kaleidoscope placemats
collection combines tessellations, patterns of
shapes that fit together. Made in Taiwan, the
line is suitable for indoor/outdoor use.

Grund is coming to NY
Now for the first time,
and showing its latest
sustainably–made
bedding collections,

Lili Alessandra is expanding the area rug
category, which launched in January, with
new handcrafted wool styles, including

ensemble featuring a modern, minimal
stripe and border-embroidered design.
