Fight for Peace uses boxing and martial arts combined with education and personal development to help young people in communities affected by crime and violence. It operates academies in Rio de Janeiro and London based on research into local risk factors. The program offers five pillars of support: boxing/martial arts, education, social action, job access, and youth leadership. Evaluation found 86% of young people felt more motivated, 81% were less prone to violence, and 89% progressed into further education or employment. Fight for Peace provides training to organizations globally to establish similar programs to support at-risk youth.
