In the thirdyear of Universityourcore module throughoutthe entire yearwastoresearch,design
and buildaprojectthat wouldbe recognizedbyeveryone.Iwasaskedtomake it exciting,thrilling
and to create somethingthatwascompletelydifferentto anythingoutinthe technologyworld
today.
I was preparingmyselfthroughoutmysecondyearforthe projectandwas notingdownideasthatI
couldincorporate,programmingwasthe mainaspectI wantedtouse but I wasn’tsure whatOO
language Iwould like touse.Idecidedtobuilda learningsystemforschoolsaroundthe borough
that couldtestan incorporate intotheirsystemsinthe nearfuture.
Excitingandthrillingwere the wordsthatcome tomindwhenI wasresearchingmyideas,all
children like toplayaroundeitherwiththeirparents,friendsortheirteachers.Ispentover60 hours
a weekworkingonmyprojectan spent3 daysa weekwithinaschool soI couldsee how each child
workson a computersystem,Iwantedtomake it userfriendly sothatall ages,gendersand
disabilitiescoulduse itinmanydifferentways. Iusedmanydifferenttechniquesthroughoutmy
projectwiththe use of excel,oracle,SQL,Java,C++, Visual basicsandwebdeveloping,Isucceeded
and gainedagrade of 87%.
