London Bridge spans the River Thames in central London, connecting the City of London with Southwark. It is located between Cannon Street Railway Bridge and Tower Bridge. London Bridge has been the site of successive bridges crossing the Thames, with the current bridge opening in 1973. The bridge carries the A3 road and is owned by the City of London Corporation but maintained by the Greater London Authority.
