Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for:
Traffic management including negotiations with carriers, and coordination of receiving and shipping of goods.
Organization of clients’, suppliers’ and subcontractors’ local and international transportation.
Collaboration with Customs to facilitate exports and imports of goods.
Management of suppliers’ non-conformances if any.
Participating in business process improvement projects.
Qualifications and competencies
• 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in logistics or supply chain processes.
• Bachelor degree in Business administration, Industrial Engineering, operations management or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and ACCESS
• Knowledge of international transportation standards
• Bilingual: French / English, Spanish would be an asset
• Ability to manage and control activities
