2. Big Raven
•
This painting is by Emily Carr

elements that are in this picture
are sad colours, wavy lines, little
space, smooth texture, unnatural
shape and form. The media that
was used in this picture is oil
and water colour paints. The
subject is a sculpture of a raven.
I feel a bit sad when I look at this
picture because the colours that
are used are quite sad. I think
this picture is good and it is
interesting because of the use of
lines.

•
These painting is by Emily Carr
and it was made in 1937. The
elements that are used in this
piece are rough lines, not that
much colour, rough texture, hard
value, different shapes and little
space. The media that was used
is oil paint on canvas. The subject
is a forsaken sculpture in the
wilderness. When I look at this
picture I feel lonely and forgotten
because the sculpture looks that
way. I think this art is good
because it has a lot of texture and
the way the artist angled this
piece was very good.
4. Bear Head
•
This piece is by Bill Reid and it

elements that are in this picture
are smooth lines, weird
shapes, different form, smooth
texture and small space. The
media used was sculpture
carving in bronze. The subject
of this carving is a bear's head.
My emotions for this picture are
happy and surprised because
the younger is sticking out. I
think this picture is okay and
could have used a bit more
detail for it.

of lines.

elements that are in this painting
are bright and bold colours, wavy

value and big space space. The
media that was used is paint. The
subject of this picture is people
having fun. When I look at this

good and wonderful because of
the colours and the way the artist
has all of the people doing
different fun activities.
7. Attack
•
The artist that did this painting is
Ted Harrison and it was made in
1992. The elements that are in this

colours, wavy lines, different
shapes, light and dark value and
big space. The media that was

someone that is about to score.
When I look at this picture, I feel
intense and like I am in the game. I
think this picture is good because It
is involving a sport and the way the
artist angled the picture. The only
problem is that it is hockey and I
don't really like hockey.
