This document describes the DynMX Center of Gravity supply chain analysis tool. The tool calculates the center of gravity of current distribution locations and customers served based on factors like visit frequency, distance, sales value or transport costs. It is a 4-step process where the user inputs customer and weight data, selects the number of centers, analyzes the results which indicate the best locations for warehouses, and gets insights on warehouse location and customer assignment decisions. The tool helps optimize a supply chain network by supporting decisions around opening or closing warehouses and determining which customers to serve from each location.
