background and adjusted it to a
suitable volume level that sits well
with the narration.

5. Reversing footage
To reverse the footage, right
click on the clip you want to
reverse and click on
‘speed/duration’. Then select
the reverse speed box and
press ‘OK’.

6. To export, make sure the blue line is at the end of your film.
Then ‘File’, ‘Export’, ‘Media’.

7. Change ‘Format’ to ‘H.264’
Change ‘Present’ to
‘Youtube 480p SD Wide’
And change ‘Output name’ to where you want
to save your film and what you want to call it.
Then click ‘Export’ and wait.

8. Overall, I think that my film is good, however
there are a couple improvements that I need to
make.
Some of the narration I need to redo because
unfortunately, the voiceover person had a cold for
some of it therefore I will need to redo this when
he is better.
I also may add credits at the end to show who
was involved in the film.
I will also add my studio logo at the beginning of
the film so that it looks more professional.
However, I do think I have achieved what I set
out to do.
I wanted to take inspiration from Wes Anderson’s
films like ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’, so I
decided to put the film into a square frame and I
think this works well.
I also think that the music works well with the
visuals and storyline as I was aiming for a slightly
odd kind of film but also upbeat and I think I have
found the right music that portrays this nicely.
I think that to the audience my film might have
been a bit confusing and they wouldn’t get the
storyline, so I decided to add a section at the end
that explains to hopefully help.
• Re-record parts of narration that are too
quiet.
• Add credits at the end.
• Add studio logo at beginning.
• Change sound balance on chapter 3 and
narration.
