Living things luis
1. LIVING THINGS.
1 Life on Earth: Water, gases and the biosphere.
Living things and life processes and human beings:
Interaction, nutrition and reproduction.
2 Cells:
All living organisms are formed by cells. They are unicellular organisms
and others are multicellular organisms.
3 Classifying living things: We can classify living things into five groups.

2. 1 Life on Earth
The Earth, the Sun and the Atmosphere:
•
The Earth is the only planet that we know that life exists. Our planet has got a lot of
water in lakes, rivers, oceans and seas.
•
The atmosphere contains gases like: Oxigen and carbon dioxide.
•
The sun is important too, because it provides our planet with light and heat.
Living things and life processes:
•
Animal interaction, nutrition and reproduction.
•
Human interaction, nutrition and reproduction.

3. 2 Cells.
Cells:
• All living organisms are formed by cells.
• Some living things, like bacteria or yeast, have only one cell, they are unicellular
organisms. Other living things, like trees and butterflies, have got more than one cell
they are multicellular organisms.
• Cells are living things because they perfom the basic life processes of
interaction,nutrition and reproduction.
The parts of a cell:
• All animal and plant cells have got three basic parts:The membrane, the nucleus
and the cytoplasm. In plant cells, there are also a cell wall otside the membrane. In
the cytoplasm of plant cell there also a organelles called chloroplasts.
How are cells organised?
. Tissues, Organs and Systems.
