The Geneva Community Center hosted a meeting of the Geneva2020 Literacy Action Team to discuss improving literacy in the community. The agenda included welcoming attendees, collecting charter agreements, analyzing literacy data from 2012-2016, discussing summer programming and data collection, family involvement, and benefits of joining the Geneva2020 initiative. Participants brainstormed ideas for incorporating literacy into summer activities and discussed working as a team using data and continuous improvement to help local youth graduate prepared for their futures.
