than to focus on anatomical details.

Actual Lines refer lines that are physically
present in a composition. The lines can
describe shapes, add energy to a drawing,
or help plan the composition.
• Implied lines suggest lines through a series
of points, the juxtaposition of shapes
through closure. It draws the eye of the
viewer in an intentional direction
