This document discusses using research blogs to teach information literacy and critical thinking skills to creative arts students. It outlines the aims of research blogs, which are to help students locate and evaluate sources, use sources ethically, engage in critical analysis and discussion, and reflect on the research process. Examples of student research blogs are provided on topics like popular culture, gender, and globalization. Student feedback indicates that research blogs make the research process less daunting than essays and allow for more exploration of themes and discussion.
