2. Welcome to LIFE BY DESIGN!
I am very excited that you decided to join
"LIFE BY DESIGN, the workshop”. Everything
is almost ready for what promises to be an
inspiring and empowering day
The slides that follow will give you all the information you need
in preparation for the event on Saturday. If you have further
questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We have a diverse group of people joining and we even have
people flying in from Serbia and Portugal for the event.
Participants come from different walks of life and I am sure they
will enrich your experience on the day.

3. VENUE & TIMES
“LIFE BY DESIGN, the workshop” will take place
at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel. The nearest
tube stations are: Tower Hill, Aldgate and also
the DLR Tower Gateway.
Upon arrival at the hotel, please follow signs for the
Bartholomew Suite on the 1st floor
The workshop will start promptly at 09:00 am on
Saturday 23rd of March and will finish at 17:30 hrs.
You should arrive at the venue 15 min before so that
you can register and enjoy a coffee.

4. FOOD AND DRINKS
Starter to share:
lunch
Bistro Starter Board to share
Freshly baked bread selection, calamari & a pressé of
avocado, mozzarella & tomato
Lunch is not included. However, I have
negotiated a deal with the hotel for those of Main course to choose from:
you that wish to eat in the hotel. -Pan fried sea bass fillet
tomato, courgette and basil compote and lemon sauce
This includes a 2 course menu with a starter -Free range chicken supreme
board to share followed by a main course of English Cox apples and fresh asparagus
your choosing for £9.95. They promise fast -Summer salad of Roquefort, pear & fig (V)
service in a buffet style express lunch concept. With Belgian endive leaves and walnut
-Vegetarian pasta or pizza of the day (V)
If you want to take this option please let me -Day’s chef’s special
know by email, so that a table can be arranged -Steak Frites (£4.50 supplement will apply)
for those of us eating at the hotel. Served with shallots & red wine butter
You are also welcome to go out to nearby
eateries for lunch and you can bring it into the
hotel, but you must make sure you eat it only in
our allocated conference room and not in any
other hotel facilities.

Coffee and Tea will be offered upon arrival and
also half way through the morning. Coffee, tea
and cakes will be offered in the afternoon.

5. what is the dress code?
The dress code is casual, you are more than welcome to
wear jeans and comfortable clothing but bring a jumper
in case the air conditioning gets too cold.
You might also want to bear in mind that we might be
taking some photos of you and the group as you work. I
thought I’d let you know in case you want to look
particularly smart J
what do you need to bring?
I will provide you with a sketchpad to make notes
and some exercise forms. So, you don’t really need
to bring anything.
However, if you have a notepad or folder in which
you keep notes about your projects, goals, dreams
and future plans you might want to bring that along
in case you want to look at them and write on it.
The other thing you need to bring is:
• An open attitude
• A desire to connect with like-minded people
• A firm intention to participate and be present
