L.E.Z. PROJECT
LOGISTICA EMISSIONI ZERO
LEZ – LOGISTICA EMISSIONI ZERO

MISSION (1/2)
« Implement a New Zero-Emission Logistics Model,
with a break-even energy balance and economic
savings prospects, capable of distributing consumer
goods and various commodities, within large
metropolitan areas and Limited Traffic Zones of
Rome, Trento and Catania, through the integrated
use of renewable energy sources and innovative
technologies…”

LEZ – LOGISTICA EMISSIONI ZERO

MISSION (2/2)
“…specifically, HUBs and TPs that
work through, solar power supplied
by photovoltaic panels, fast charging
towers, stations for quick
replacement of batteries, new
electrical vehicles for urban transport
and automated systems for
handling/picking activities
(Intelligent Swarms ®). HUBs and TPs
integrated also by a new operative
model (HIP TP - High Intensity
Proximity Transit Point®) for the
physical distribution “

LOGISTIC MODEL

LEZ – LOGISTICA EMISSIONI ZERO

MAIN GOALS
1. Certify/validate LEZ as the best distributions logistics solution within the
environmental and eco-sustainable field (C02 = 0 / Roma Capitale +
Catania + Trento  12,5 MEuro);
2. Render repeatable/reproducible LEZ and promote the Green Logistics at
national and international level;
3. Favour the market, through the introduction of innovative technologies;
4. Reach a BEP (break-even point) < 4 years;
5. Achieve operative costs savings, compared to the “traditional logistics
model” of 15-20%:
- reduce the energy power of the platforms (10% - 20%)
- increase the autonomy of the eletric vehicles (10% - 20%)
- reduce the emissions of hazardous substances (85% - 95%)
- reduce the cost of logistics handling (20%)
