Lewis Press Ltd., a printing press which was established in Malta, in 1949 and grew gradually into becoming a PS9000:2016 and ISO9001:2015 certified supplier of primary and secondary pharmaceutical packaging. With a focus on manufacturing packaging material for the pharmaceutical industry, Lewis Press invested heavily in adopting a top level of quality in its operations, to provide high quality products and assurance to its partners.

clean rooms that are equipped
with a flexo-printing machine
and rewinder.
LABELS
The company can print and
cut high end labels. We
currently supply top players in
the local food and beverage
industry.

10. • We are able to manufacture folded cartons from scratch.
• After the flat sheets are printed several finishing
processes are available to produce folded cartons
which are glued longitudinally.
• Cartons can incorporate Braille embossing and perforation.
• The company developed different tamper-evident carton.

11. • The company can produce 2-colour sheet-fed leaflets printed on
both sides in one machine pass. Leaflets are then further
processed into three different products:
• Unfolded Leaflets - After printing, sheets are cut using one
of the company’s guillotines as per customer specifications.
• Pre-folded Leaflet - After the guillotine process, the leaflets
may then be processed in either a two-gate or three-gate
fold. These leaflets are then shipped to the customer for
final processing.
• Booklet Inserts or Outserts - Leaflets may be also folded in
a form of a booklet. Dots of adhesive are used to bond the
two ends of the leaflets together.

12. • Aluminium foil is printed in ISO class 8 certified clean rooms
that are equipped with a flexo-printing machines and rewinder.
• The printed product is subject to the company's exhaustive
quality checks and make use of an inspection system that is able
to carry out 100% inspection of the printed product.

13. • Lewis Press supplies labels to top players in the local food and
beverage industry.
• With our capabilities we can supply different kind of labels:
• Straight Cut
• Pile Cut
• Die Cut
• Premium stickers can be also supplied with Hot Foil
