This document discusses the different levels of organization in multicellular organisms from smallest to largest: 1) Cells are the basic unit of life and can be specialized for different functions. 2) Tissues are groups of the same type of cells that work together for a specific purpose like muscle or nerve tissue. 3) Organs contain different tissues and work as a unit like the heart. 4) Organ systems are groups of organs that function together such as the circulatory or respiratory systems. 5) The largest level is the organism itself which is made up of all the cells, tissues, organs and organ systems working together.
