Financial American Corporation in Scottsdale,
Arizona, John Pacheco has led the firm in its
acquisition of thousands of properties. On behalf
of his company, John Pacheco supports several
nonprofit organizations, one of which is the
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).
The LLS began in 1949, when Robert Roesler de
Villiers succumbed to leukemia at age 14. The
organization strives to cure leukemia, myeloma,
Hodgkin’s disease, and lymphoma as well as
provide treatments for blood cancer patients.

3.  One of its fundraising events is the Light the
Night Walk, in which individuals from almost 200
communities form fundraising walk teams.
The Tucson, Arizona, chapter held its 2015 Light
the Night Walk on October 3, at the Kino Sports
Complex- North Grandstand Field. Participants
walked, carried illuminated lanterns and
balloons, and commemorated lives affected by
cancer. Geared toward walkers of all ages, the
Light the Night Walk evening event is a
celebration with music, entertainment, and
camaraderie. Typically, walkers raise $250 each,
and those who raise $1,000 or more become
members of the Bright Lights Club.
