Dear Judges:
Hello, my name is Blake Newcomer. I played baseball for the school for two years. I
enjoy riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes, and being outdoors. In my future I plan on
going to Chattahoochee Technical College for engineering of small engines and first
responders. Therefore, my senior project is the process of rebuilding a two stroke four-
wheeler engine.
My product is a rebuilt and modded four wheeler. In my research paper I talked about the
history of the Banshee and how it could be modded. In my research paper I learned that
the engine that used for this four wheeler was off of a Yamaha race bike. I over came
obstacles in the electronic system of the four wheeler. And many other small obstacles
such as aftermarket parts not fitting in correctly.
My senior project topic is based on the career of small engine engineering. Throughout
my senior project I learned that I really enjoy working on four wheelers and modding
them to certain extinct. In my future after I pursue into the first responder field, I believe
that I would continue to be educated in this field. I don’t believe I would want this to by
my main career. Although, I do see myself keeping this in mind for a hobby.
I thought that senior project was a very good experience. It made me realize I would not
pursue this in my future. I really enjoyed the process of my senior project.
