Regarding: Brandon Stitz
This letter will confirm my endorsement of Brandon Stitz on both a personal and professional
level. I have known Mr. Stitz since 2013 when he accepted the position of Assistant Manager of
Dick’s Sporting Goods located in Clackamas, Oregon. I was employed by Dick’s as the PGA
professional and worked closely with Brandon for the next 18 months.
I worked at Dick’s Sporting Goods for five years of which over three were prior to Brandon’s
arrival. During that time I worked with four store managers and eight assistant managers and in
my opinion Brandon was by far the most qualified. What separated Brandon from the other
managers was the way he perceived the job. He was never satisfied with his departments just
meeting company standards and would always finds ways to improve visual presentations
keeping within company policies.
In addition to the visual displays Brandon worked with and mentored all of the employees
under his supervision. He was constantly improving their attitudes, knowledge and the customer
service levels with a goal of constantly exceeding customer expectations. This was reflected in
the number of exceptional store surveys the store received after his arrival.
Brandon has a tremendous amount of knowledge about golf business including: golf equipment,
club repair, the golf swing, fitting clubs, store presentation, customer service, sportswear, and
managing employees. However the most important quality, and the reason I do not hesitate to
recommend him for any position he may apply for is his work ethic. Brandon always came to
work with a positive attitude, on time, with a plan and goals for the day. Mr. Stitz is one of the
most competent managers I know and in my opinion make a wonderful General Manager.
If I can be of any further assistance please contact me as I am available at any time for further
discussion.
Sincerely,
Randall N. Bell, PGA
