discussed his recent decision to move to the Raleigh/Durham area where he will need to seek
employment. I applaud his decision to take his dedication, work ethic and skills to the next level
in a new location.
Through my former position as Director of the Dennis Chamber of Commerce on Cape Cod, I
continually recognized business owners/managers/sales staff who sought more than a career.
They were looking to make their mark somehow in a special way. They came with dreams of
high success and were willing to work hard. I got to know Steven in my present position at
Emerald Physicians and he is one of those individuals.
Steven chose newspaper advertising sales, an area of employment that is considered quite
competitive and is especially so on Cape Cod. Many with high hopes don’t survive the pressure.
Others seem to handle pressure well, but lack creativity, guts or discipline. Steven is not one of
those individuals. He constantly remains focused on the “big picture” and works hard at meeting
his goals. He makes it a point to continue to grow and improve personally and professionally to

Steven possesses many of the necessary qualities to succeed when the going gets tough. His
