This document provides a recipe for homemade bread using km 0 products to reduce environmental impact. The recipe calls for 300g natural yeast, 800g flour, 400g warm water, 3 tablespoons salt, 1 teaspoon sugar. The ingredients are mixed and allowed to rise for 6 hours before being baked at 180 degrees Celsius for 50 minutes.
This document provides a recipe for stuffed artichokes. It lists the ingredients as artichokes, bread, parmesan, eggs, parsley, garlic, and oil. The instructions are to clean the artichokes by removing the external leaves, mix the bread mixture with the other ingredients, fill the artichokes with the mixture, and place the stuffed artichokes in a pan with water, oil, garlic and parsley.
The document compares the ecological footprints of several European nations based on food consumption, including Estonia, Italy, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, and Portugal. It provides data on the quantity of food consumed in each country and the conversion factors used to calculate the total ecological footprint in square meters for each nation, with Italy having the largest at over 5 million square meters and Estonia the smallest at around 771 thousand square meters.
The document discusses different types of flour produced in the Abruzzo region of Italy from locally grown wheat varieties. It describes the milling process that separates the bran from the wheat to produce flour of different fineness, from soft wheat flours labeled "00", "0", "1", "2" to integral flour. Two specific varieties of wheat grown in Abruzzo are discussed: Solina soft wheat used to make bread, pasta, biscuits and tarts; and Senatore Cappellii durum wheat semolina ideal for pizza, focaccia and pastries. Traditional Abruzzo dishes that showcase the regional flours are also mentioned.
This document discusses a local sustainable farm that grows strawberries and tomatoes using innovative growing techniques without chemicals. Strawberries are grown in bags filled with coconut shells, and tomatoes can be grown both in the ground and in bags. The document outlines several health benefits of tomatoes, including that they protect against tumors due to lycopene, help reduce blood pressure due to potassium, and fight aging due to antioxidants. It also provides tips for preparing tomato sauce.
The Abruzzo winery aims to promote sustainable wine production through environmentally friendly techniques and respect for local traditions. It uses stainless steel structures and a photovoltaic system to operate more hygienically and be energy self-sufficient. Innovative techniques like natural fermentation and medical-grade filtration retain grape flavors while reducing environmental impact. The winery also uses recycled and minimum plastic packaging alongside an organic transition over two years.

The students meet a river who explains how it carries water and nutrients around the earth, providing habitat and food for many organisms. The river's banks and waters support a variety of plant and animal life, with birds eating fish, insects eating plants, and fish jumping for insects. By observing the riverbank ecosystem, the students learn the important role water plays in sustaining life and are left questioning why anyone would not take care of water resources.

5. Biodiversità: cos'è? Se la conosci non la
distruggi.
Laboratorio:
Arcimboldo: frutta e verdura in arte.
immagini, copiano, incollano, fanno ruotare immagini,
producono ribaltamenti. riducono e ingrandiscono.
6. Gioco dell'oca sostenibile e...plurilingue!
Gli alunni organizzano il gioco dell'oca
e utilizzano materiale da riciclare e di
facile consumo per realizzarlo.
7. In viaggio... modello la mia conoscenza!
Gli alunni costruiscono la loro cartina geografica, in particolare l'Abruzzo e
focalizzano l'attenzione su caratteristiche ambientali e alimentari.
8. Km...0 in Abruzzo.
