This document summarizes the work of a startup team called Kamino during their participation in a summer startup program. The team developed software to automatically and non-intrusively analyze code to detect and prevent bugs from being repeated. They identified the large market of companies that develop software and validated potential clients and subscription plans. The team also read suggested books, contacted companies, and maintained current clients while learning important lessons about questioning assumptions and iterating quickly.

4. Miguel Miranda
Software engineer, graduated from
IST/UTL in 2011 and co-founded the
startup Kamino in 2012. Received a
diploma of merit in the second and third
year of his degree. Lectured the classes of
Object Oriented Programming. Researched
Distributed Systems, Music Analysis and
Genetic Inference in INESC-ID. Other
interests include piano and jogging.

5. David Antunes
Software engineer, graduated from
IST/UTL in 2011 and co-founded the
startup Kamino in 2012. Received a
diploma of merit in the first master's year,
and lectured the classes of Compilers and
Object Oriented Programming. Published
several academic papers during the
course, and developed research in various
areas including smart home, surveillance,
and robot interaction. Other interests
include violin playing and karate.
