China has a very large population。 If you know this
language, it means you will be able to communicate with
a lot more people in the world。
China has a history of 4000 years. You can
experience the richness of the culture when you
are learning the language.
The “Made in China”sign will remind you
of the business connections we have
with China.
The way Chinese people thinking is very different from
Western people. Understanding their way of thinking
can develop a balanced view towards the world.
Cultural expriences
Complete at least two of the
following tasks.
Figure out how to put the 旗袍(qipao)on
and put it on if possible。
Kick the 毽子(jian zi)and record how
many you can do without it dropping on
the floor
Read the Chinese calligraphy writing字画
(zi hua)。 Guess whether you should
read it horizontally or vertically。
Look at the 剪纸(jian zhi)paper cutting.
Name two things you can see from it.
Flip through some Chinese books. Do you
see any differences with the books you
normally read.
Draw the Chinese national flag in your
book.
Take a photo of other people doing
certain activity and send it to 管老师
(guan lao shi)
