4. 1. OPEN THE PAINT PROGRAM IN ORDER TO CREATE A NEW FILE. 1.1. Go to the Menu Fitxer  Configurar pàgina 1.2. In the second window (picture 2), choose an horizontal position (orientació) and undo the horizontal and vertical centred (centrat) Picture 1 Picture 2

5. 2. Set the attributes of your file. 2.1. Click on the menu Imatge --> Atributs 2.2. Choose the centimetres as the measure unit. 2.3. Introduce the next measures: Width (amplada) = 27 cm. Height (alçada) = 19 cm.

7. 4. Create the interior of the Christmas card. 4.1. Draw your Christmas card with Christmas topics and elements. 4.2. In the left side of the card, make your drawing by using, preferably, the geometric tools (rectangle, ellipse, rounded rectangle and polygon). 4.3. You can copy your geometric forms and paste them ( copiar i enganxar ), and modify their width. 4.4. Complete your drawing with line, curves or other tools. 4.5. Colour the pictures by using painting tools. 4.6. Look at the trees samples.

8. 5. Draw the lines to write the card text. 5.1. Choose the line tool and draw seven or eight straight and parallel lines. 5.2. Introduce the text if you want. Text tool

9. 6. Save the file in your folder. 6.1. Click on the menu Fitxer --> Anomena i desa 6.2. Find your folder in the computer and save it as, for example: “Sonia Christmas card”. 6.3. Save your partner’s card, too.
